This week, kick things off with a family-friendly Country celebration at the San Diego Botanic Garden just in time for the 4th of July! Enjoy live music on the Gazebo Lawn featuring Martin Kent on guitar and vocals, Connie Adams on vocals and Rand Anderson on electric and pedal steel guitar. The trio’s lineup includes a wide variety of classic country legends like Hank Williams and Johnny Cash, to modern hits from Garth Brooks and Taylor Swift, even featuring some country rock hits from the Eagles and Bob Dylan. From August 1-3, Old Town’s iconic Bazaar del Mundo Shops will present its Latin American Market, transforming its courtyard into a small marketplace with genuine folk art, handwoven textiles, stunning jewelry and meticulously crafted ceramic and clay pottery made by “The Best of the Best.” This is an opportunity for guests to take a timeless piece of culture, tradition and history home, and enjoy live demonstrations, Latin guitar serenades and award-winning Mexican cuisine from neighboring Casa Guadalajara.
