Using wool, you will learn and practice needle felting techniques, feeling the cloud of fibers taking body and turning into a beautiful object. Each student will make an assortment of sea pebbles, in different tones, shapes and sizes. They make a lovely decoration, lucky stones, or tokens of friendship! In this class you will learn about wool, how to use different size needles, and felting safety (guards will be supplied for use), as we embark in the meditative process of felting, rounding edges, smoothing angles, and adding delicate veins to make your own personal trompe-l’oeil stones.
