  • Nimesh Patel is a comedian and Emmy-nominated writer who has risen the ranks to some of comedy’s biggest stages due to his unassailable joke writing, prolific output, and pioneering use of technology. In the past 2 years Nimesh has self-released three stand-up specials and has charted a path from sold out comedy clubs to major theaters. Nimesh most recently appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and before that made his late night debut on Late Night with Seth Meyers. His self-released specials “Jokes To Get You Through Quarantine,” “Thank You, China,” and “Lucky Lefty” have amassed millions of views. His first writing job came after Chris Rock saw him perform standup and hired him directly to write for The Academy Awards in 2016 and tour with him. Join her in a conversation about assimilation through colorful, innuendo-filled murals and photography."Griselda Rosas: Yo te cuido" — The artist’s first solo museum exhibition presents new textile drawings and sculptural installations that explore themes of inheritance and intergenerational knowledge. Rosas, who is based between San Diego and Tijuana, adopts embroidery skills learned from her mother, grandmother, and aunts, often using her young son’s drawings as foundations.
