  • English Powerhouse Manchester City and Nexen will host the 2023 Nexen Man City Cup, beginning on May 25 with the Boys supergroups kicking off at the SoCal Sports Complex in Oceanside. The Boys supergroups will feature the Manchester City boys academy and other top academy teams from LigaMX and MLS teams. The main tournament starts Saturday, May 27 – at three venues across the greater San Diego area: Boys 2009-2015 games will be held at Galway Downs (Temecula) for the first time in the tournament's history. All Girls games will be held at Surf Cup Sports Park in Del Mar, California – featuring Manchester City’s girls academy team for the first time. Finally, all l boys supergroups will continue to play at SoCal sports complex in Oceanside, California. The finals will be played on Monday, May 29 – featuring the supergroup finals at Surf Cup Sports Park in Del Mar, California. All other finals will be played at Galway Downs (Temecula). This year’s tournament will feature activations from Manchester City, Nexen, and PUMA–as well as a special visit from Manchester City’s mascot, Moonchester.
