Gordon Goodwin's Big Phat Band is an 18-piece jazz orchestra, that combines the big band swing of the 1930s and 1940s with funk and jazz fusion. Goodwin is a gifted and creative pianist, an explosive and "haul ass", "kick butt," sax player, an arranger of absolutely no limit of musical styles and composer.
