  • Learn to basketweave with Marsha Orr! The Lace Collar basket presents many traditional weaving techniques in a small project (5” x 8”) that can be accomplished in an afternoon. Weaving techniques include creating a solid woven base, twining, over-under interrupted weave, 3-Rod wale, and the final flourish, creating a beautiful braided rim. The basket can be woven in natural reed, stained, or dyed reed can be added for color. Additional colors of reed will be available in class for students to weave with. All techniques are demonstrated during the class. Students: Please bring sturdy scissors & an old towel if you can! No experience necessary.
