From mosses to ferns to pine trees, we’ll learn some of the complex ways these plants create the next generation. A more in-depth look at the extremely diverse group of flowering plants will reveal some remarkable and unbelievable ways some species use mimicry, trickery, and seduction just to attract pollinators and get their pollen transported to other flowers. The San Diego Early Music Society presents their annual Early Music Showcase on Sunday, June 1, at 7 p.m. - 9 p.m., at St. Paul’s Episcopal Cathedral, 2728 6th Ave. Each June, local amateur and professional musicians return to the Great Hall of St. Paul’s to share their love of Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque music, as six ensembles perform music from 1000-1750.
