The Forum Carlsbad’s 22nd Annual Tree Lighting takes place on Friday, Dec. 6, from 6-9 p.m. This festive evening will feature a live performance by The Mar Dels, holiday characters, and an enchanting snowfall to close out the night. Santa Claus will make his grand arrival to light the Christmas Tree, kicking off a dazzling light show and creating a memorable experience for all in attendance. Holiday Activities at The Forum Carlsbad Black Friday & Small Business Saturday Specials and Carolers: Shoppers are invited to kick off the holiday season at The Forum Carlsbad on Nov. 29 and 30. Explore the collection of shops and restaurants, many of which are offering seasonal promotions, events, and extended hours throughout the weekend. Plus, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., strolling carolers will serenade guests to spark the holiday spirit. Schedule of Events: 6-6:30 p.m. Performance by La Costa Canyon High School Marching Band Santa’s Arrival Lighting of the Christmas Tree, followed by a light show and snowfall 6:30-9 p.m. Photos with Santa in the Garden Area behind YETI Live music by The Mar Dels Strolling holiday characters, photo booth, and complimentary treats from local restaurants Santa Visits Capture the magic of the season with Santa on Saturdays and Sundays, Dec. 7-22, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., in the Garden Area near YETI. Visits with Santa are free of charge, and families are encouraged to bring their own cameras to capture the memories. In addition, holiday characters will make a special appearance on Saturdays. Saturday, Dec. 7 — Special appearance by The Grinch Saturday, Dec. 14 — Meet Buddy the Elf Saturday, Dec. 21 — The Grinch returns for another festive visit Christmas Tree Wonderlights From Dec. 7-25, guests will enjoy a captivating, choreographed light and music show on The Forum Carlsbad’s Christmas Tree each evening. The shows begin on the hour from 5-9 p.m., adding a magical glow to every holiday evening and creating a must-see experience for all ages.
