  • The Cars of Pop Culture exhibit will showcase cars of pop culture! Celebrating Comic Con returning to San Diego post COVID we wanted to display cars you would see on film and in comic book. The cars planned for display offer a wide variety of interests for multiple audiences. The tentative car list includes: 1989 Batmobile, 1900 Overland "Texas Bullshit Scraper" (Commissioned by Bob Hope and built by Barris as a gag gift for John Wayne), Speed Racer Mach 5, 1998 VW Beetle "Shag Mobile" from Austin Powers, and the 1966 Yamaha "Batcycle".
