  • Miracle Babies, a nonprofit organization whose mission is dedicated to helping perinatal mothers and their families during their time of need by providing transportation, mental health assistance and supportive services, will be hosting its next diaper distribution on Saturday, December 9, from 10 a.m. to Noon, at the Jack in the Box Corporate Office in Kearney Mesa (9357 Spectrum Center Blvd., San Diego, 92123). Registered guests will be able to attend the free diaper distribution from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and it will be open to the public from 11:30 a.m. to Noon. Over 350 local families are anticipated to attend. Registration is open through Friday, December 8 at Noon or until supplies last. Recently, Miracle Babies has received a generous donation of 200 new Jive 2-in-1 convertible car seats from Baby2Baby, a nonprofit organization that provides children living in poverty with diapers, clothing and all the necessities that every child deserves. Miracle Babies is working with hospitals and social workers to identify NICU families making less than 80k per year who will receive these car seats at the distribution. The American Medical Response (AMR) will provide free car seat safety inspections on a limited basis. Families in need of products should register online at the Miracles Babies website to ensure availability of diaper sizes. Diaper donations and volunteers are welcome and accepted at all distributions.
