  • Join Space 4 Art at the Sherman Heights Community Center on Tuesday, September 10 from 6-8 p.m. to experience a moving art exhibit featuring quilts created by January’s flood-impacted families. This community event showcases a collaborative quilt made during a healing-arts workshop led by teaching artist Yvette Roman in late August, when families used creativity to express their experiences and emotions connected to the floods. After the exhibit, families will take home the quilt pieces they contributed, serving as a lasting reminder of their collective strength. Admission is free to view the quilts, share in stories of resilience, and enjoy complimentary BBQ sliders from our friends at Clandestine BBQ.
