During the workshop, students will complete a small project using glass they select from a variety of colors and textures. Different patterns are available to choose from.   • April 15 & 16 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. with a 1.5-hr break and 2:30 – 6:30 p.m. Materials included. No experience necessary. Ages 18+ Instructor Erin Behling Join us in crafting your own woven stool! In this 2-day intensive series, each student will create their own stool from beech wood while learning the basics of woodworking, furniture design and traditional weaving techniques using Danish cord. While getting familiar with the tools in the woodshop during this course, students will learn mortise and tenon joinery basics, cutting joinery, shaping and finishing wood, how to cut tapered legs on the tablesaw, and of course– how to weave that beautiful seat with Danish cord! Methods we use in this class are different from our other woodworking classes, so this series will give you even more knowledge! • All levels are welcome; ages 18 and up. Must be able to attend all 4 classes.   • Tuesdays from 4 – 5 p.m. Instructor Mia Vaughnes Children age 6+ are welcome! Join us for learning about plot planning, companion planting, maintenance, harvesting, seed saving, composting, and activities that progress the garden forward. Garden Club gives the children an opportunity to become good stewards of the garden and realize the impact of their efforts. Every club session will include a harvest culinary prepared treat so they can taste the goodness that comes from the garden. Our Edible Garden is a wonderful way to teach the community about how gardening in a small space can be quite abundant.
