Based on the novel by the English writer Daphne Du Maurier, JAMAICA INN is a gripping mystery that tells the story of Mary Yellan, a woman who is forced to move into the ominous Jamaica Inn with her aunt and uncle. Mary must uncover the secrets of a local group of smugglers while also managing her growing attraction to the mysterious Jem Merlyn.

  • Ongoing Mondays, 5 – 8 p.m. Instructor: Ahmad Khalid Rauofi Afghani master wood carver Ahmad Khalid Rauofi will teach students how to craft their own carved wooden spoon. This class is ongoing and builds upon itself. Students can join at any time, and classes can be taken non-consecutively. Open to all skill levels. Some of the topics covered: • choosing the appropriate tools for the project • how to correctly and safely use the gouges and knives • the process of creating and transferring your design to wood • how to navigate grain direction We will supply materials and carving tools, but if you have your own, please bring them.
