Henseler, on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Union Hall Gallery in San Diego; the exhibition will run through August 10. After creating in near-anonymity for over 30 years, Henseler brings 90 original works—sculpture, stained glass, painting, architectural design, and more into the light. His work is a testament to resilience, introspection, and the capacity for art to hold meaning in an increasingly disconnected world. Opening night will include live music, refreshments, and a Q&A with the artist, whose story bridges architecture, wilderness, family, and spiritual healing. Closing weekend (August 9) will feature a special performance by Henseler’s wife, Chilean vocalist Lorena Isabell, and will be dedicated to survivors of domestic abuse and neglect, a deeply personal cause for the artist. 28th Annual Fiesta de Los Penasquitos Since 1995, the annual “Fiesta de Los Peñasquitos” street fair has become the annual community highlight event in Rancho Peñasquitos, attracting visitors from all over San Diego and beyond. This free, family-friendly event celebrates community wellness with a special focus on maternal and children's health. The day will include a variety of exciting activities and supportive services for the whole family. Highlights include a food distribution, a backpack giveaway to help children prepare for the upcoming school year, music from a live DJ, a blood drive in support of the San Diego Blood Bank, free dental screenings with fluoride varnish, and general health screenings.
