This celebration will take place in two parts. The first will take place Wednesday, July 17 at 6 p.m. The second all ages focused celebration will take place on Saturday, July 20 at 2 p.m. and feature shorts to entertain the young and old. Our All Ages event celebrates a variety of wonderful animated shorts that are sure to please all who attend. Highlights of the day include: "Betty in Blunderland" (1934); "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" (1940); "Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass Double Feature" (1967); "The Old Man and the Sea" (1999); "Feast" (2014); "Paperman" (2012); and "Boundin: (2003) This celebration will take place in two parts. Film expert Ralph DeLauro provides a brief introduction to each film and leads a discussion afterwards, often including pointers about how lighting or camera angles contribute to a scene’s mood or propel the story.
