  • North City, San Marcos is hosting its first-ever Classic Car Show, celebrating craftsmanship, design, and the culture that defines Southern California’s car scene. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., visitors can explore 50+ stunning vehicles on display, ranging from vintage classics and woodies to modern, exotic, and high-end showpieces, and a Classic Car Restoration Exhibit by Conservative Auto Body Shop. Appealing to drivers of all ages, the Family Friendly event features a Toddler Street Course of electric ride-on cars and scooters around a custom racetrack, and a Head-to-Head DieCast Cars Race Course, as well as other activities and lawn games. Players and spectators alike can enjoy a full day of fun, food, and local entertainment. Third Avenue will be lined with local vendors and food options, while a beer garden on Davidson Avenue will feature craft brews from some of Chula Vista’s favorite breweries. Whether you’re competing for the top prize or cheering from the sidelines, it’s a great way to support a meaningful cause while celebrating the best of the community.
