Director Sandra Knight Mayes, a 35-year pageantry veteran started the pageant over 6 years ago to offer Black women of extraordinary achievement the opportunity to promote Black excellence and to set a standard of achievement attainable to women interested in making a bold statement in their communities. There are 10 competitive Divisions to compete in ranging from Baby Miss Black Global through Mrs. Black Global and International Miss Black Global.
