The Lupus Research Alliance is hosting its annual “2025 San Diego Walk with Us to Cure Lupus” event Saturday, November 22, 2025. This in-person fundraising event is a fantastic opportunity to connect with others in the community who are passionate about finding a cure for this debilitating autoimmune disease. Also included are inspiring speakers, light refreshments, fun festivities, and a Kids Zone. All are welcome. Of special note -- 100% of all donations goes to support lupus research programs because the Lupus Research Alliance Board of Directors funds all administrative and fundraising costs. The 4th annual Birdstock Music Festival & Artisan Market transforms a closed-down La Jolla Boulevard in the seaside neighborhood of Bird Rock into a day-long street festival celebrating music and community. Celebrate Día de los Muertos with music, movement & craft! Family-friendly free event! All ages welcome, with a special focus on ages 0-8 years old! Join us at Songbirds Music on Saturday, November 1 from 2-4 p.m., for a family-friendly afternoon of fun! We’ll celebrate Día de los Muertos together with a family music class hosted by Songbirds Music, followed by story time and fun all-ages crafts by San Diego Craft Collective. We’ll work together to create tissue paper flowers, and for the littlest of hands, we’ll be making yarn balls. Finally, we’ll have a light snack and be guided in fun movements with Liliana Ibarra Patoja. This event is recommended for families with children ages 0-8 years and their loving grownups. Parent participation is required. This event is hosted by and will be held at Songbirds Music, in collaboration with San Diego Craft Collective. Songbirds Music is located in the Dance Place Building in the Arts District of Liberty Station.
