  • California’s premier Viking and Nordic heritage event returns for its 23rd year! On September 20 & 21, 2025, the Vista Viking Festival will once again take over the Antique Gas & Steam Engine Museum, bringing history, culture, and adventure to life. This year, we proudly celebrate “The Year of the Valkyrie”—honoring the strength, courage, and dedication of the women who have shaped not only Viking history but also our festival. From the fierce warriors of legend to the incredible women who have helped build and sustain Vista Viking Festival over the years, we recognize their contributions in a truly special way. Step into the world of the Norse and explore authentic Viking encampments, live music from festival favorites like Highland Way, Blindfold Monks, Silk Button Butchers, and Damekor, plus thrilling combat demonstrations and competitions. Browse the vibrant vendor village, feast on Nordic-inspired food, and quench your thirst in our legendary Beer Garden, featuring mead and ale fit for the gods. Test your mettle with axe throwing, archery, and spear flinging at the Weapons Range, and immerse yourself in Viking culture, storytelling, and hands-on demonstrations. Vista Viking Festival is presented by the Norway Hall Foundation, a non-profit California 501(c)3, along with other local non-profits. Don’t miss out—get your tickets early!
