Together with their band, named Mutts of the Planet after a lyric line in one of Mitchell’s songs, Adler and Blackburn have performed six of Joni’s albums in their entirety, and released two albums of their own of original arrangements. The City of Santee is hosting its 41st Annual Santee Summer Concerts Series! "Fashioning an Icon" explores the use of the Virgin of Guadalupe in fashion, textiles and adornment in Mexico and the San Diego border region. The exhibit includes work by locals Claudia Rodríguez-Biezunski, Diana Benavídez and Arianna Ytselle alongside nearly 70 Mexican artists. It is on view April 5 through Sept. 7.
