Artists Ty Bennett and Katie Flores explore the miraculous power of painting, expressing their passions through imagery and text. Ty is an outsider surrealist artist who paints abstract and figurative works influenced by literature, movies, philosophy, psychology, religion, art history, and modern technology. Katie is a prolific painter with an exceptional eye for balancing colors. This is evident in her collection of junk food and color field paintings. The sharp, high-pitched “chck”s of Yellow-rumped Warblers filter through the foliage above us. We may spot a majestic Northern Harrier skimming low over the marsh, looking for mice. Wetter days may bring forth a surprising display of fanciful mushrooms. Clear, cooler days are perfect for exploring. Are you ready? The tour is weather permitting.
