The group is composed of two bandura players, an opera singer, a violinist, a pianist, a country singer, and a poet. Artists’ repertoire presents renditions of a wide variety of music, from Ukrainian and world classics to covers of popular hits and country tunes, featuring the traditional Ukrainian string instrument, the bandura.   • Today is the Whispering Angel Celebrity Pickleball Tournament, hosted by NFL legend Drew Brees and chef and Food Network personality Catherine McCord. The event is returning as part of the Del Mar Wine & Food Festival to bring together celebrities, athletes, chefs, and hunger-relief supporters for an afternoon of pickleball for a good cause. Ticket sales directly benefit Feeding San Diego, a Feeding America partner food bank whose mission is to provide nutritious meals to anyone in need while maximizing food rescue. Every $1 donated helps provide two meals to San Diegans facing hunger. Tickets vary from $125 to $600 per person depending on the level of play, with all tickets inclusive of food & beverage from brands such as Whispering Angel, Alesmith, Four Walls Whiskey, Hendrick’s Gin, Milagro Tequila, Loverboy, Dang Brothers Pizza, The Cottage, Sbicca, Jersey Mike’s, and many more.
