She has created a melange of delightfully odd, offbeat creatures sculpted from clay, resin, glass and for the first time - metallics! Longtime fans will see familiar Genis tropes such as mammalian eyes, amusing textiles and fantastical antlers. The works are a splendid expansion of her process and oeuvre. The opening reception will be held from 6-10 p.m. at Distinction Gallery in Escondido California.   • Jingle Roast Dec. 1 - Dec. 25, 2024 Bonfires on the beach have long been a favorite tradition at The Del, and now the experience has a fun holiday flair. Guests will don Santa hats as they snuggle up around the fire and roast holiday s'mores with fantastic views of the thousands of sparkling lights draping the resort. Fire pits can be reserved for a one-hour experience and include all s'mores-making items. Reservations are required and each fire pit can accommodate up to 10 guests. Outside food is not permitted. Please dress warmly. Fire Roast: $262.67 + tax (price inclusive of gratuity) Guest will enjoy roasting holiday s’mores as they snuggle up around the fire with fantastic views of the thousands of sparkling lights draping the resort. Fire pits can be reserved for a one-hour experience. Reservations are required and one pit accommodates up to 10 guests. Additional food items can be purchased at Frostbite Lounge, located at the ice rink. Outside food is not permitted.
