In the early 1980s, as all-out war rages between mafia bosses over the heroin trade, Buscetta, a “made man” flees to hide out in Brazil. After being arrested and extradited to Italy by the Brazilian police, Buscetta makes a decision that will change everything for the mafia in Italy - he decides to meet with Judge Giovanni Falcone and betray the eternal vow he made to the Cosa Nostra. Demure Productions is back with a brand-new residency at Queen Bee's Cultural Arts Center in North Park featuring San Diego's newest burlesque troupe, the Music Box Burlesque Revue. Music Box Burlesque Revue was founded in 2018 by Lola Demure and features some of San Diego's newest stars with a broad range of talents from dance, singing, comedy and more. Free Live Craft Demonstrations this Friday! This Friday, May 5 from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. Drop by San Diego Craft Collective this Friday for a big crafting experience & enjoy live craft demonstrations from multidisciplinary artists Erin Behling and Lydia Kardos. Enjoy ceramics and woodworking demos and explore where your own creative potential can take you! We'll also be upcycling the world's largest ugly Christmas sweater into pet blankets and other usable items that will be donated to local shelters and rescues. Local Fashion Designer, Tracey Herriot, will lead a group session of sewing and brainstorming as we test, sew, and finish some of the pieces for donation. Come by and watch or jump in and help! No food is served, nor is outside food permitted, so please plan accordingly. There are no reservations accepted, your ticket ensures you a seat, but does not guarantee groups seating together.
