This is not a hip new zombified take on Louisa May Alcott's beloved story — it's actually Moxie's concurrent production of two full, intact plays, performed "in rep." This means the shows will run on the same stage with the same cast. The plays are "Little Women The Broadway Musical" (by Allan Knee, Jason Howland and Mindi Dickstein) and Alexis Scheer's 2021 high school thriller, "Our Dear Dead Drug Lord." It doesn't sound like a natural combination, and that's kind of the point. And on Saturdays and Sundays, the actors will only have a couple of hours after the afternoon show, to rest and get ready for a completely different evening show.
