Join us for the 6th Annual 2024 Halloween in La Mesa Village trick-or-treating event! This is a FREE community event and provides a fun & safe environment for all! WHEN: Oct. 31, 2024 from 4 - 6 p.m. WHAT: The La Mesa Village Association will host its 6th annual Halloween in La Mesa Trick-or-Treating event. It will be a spooktacular event as the downtown Village gets into the Halloween spirit by handing out treats to our community. This is a free, family-friendly event for all to enjoy. Dress up in costume and trick-or-treat at participating businesses along La Mesa Blvd. between 4th St. - Acacia and adjacent streets (both sides of Spring St.). Remember to bring your own trick-or-treat bag to collect all those goodies! WHERE: Downtown La Mesa along La Mesa Blvd. and adjacent streets between 4th St. - Acacia (both sides of Spring St.)! Entertainment*Halloween-Themed Stilt Walkers - spot fun-themed characters walking down La Mesa Blvd. for a frightfully fun selfie! *Halloween-Themed Organ Concert at the La Mesa First United Methodist Church, located at 4690 Palm Ave./La Mesa Blvd. Their organist will play a "spooky" variety of Halloween tunes you're sure to enjoy beginning at 4:45 p.m.! 3rd Annual Howl-o-Ween Pet Costume ContestDress up your pet for a fun Halloween costume contest! Melissa McCune Realty is hosting this year's event and it's bigger and better than ever! Click here for the flyer for details! WHAT: Dress up your pet(s) and enter them into one of the following categories at the event - "Most Creative", "Spookiest", "Best Pet/Pet Parent Combo", "Cutest" and "Funniest"! There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each category, plus "Boo Bags" for the first 50 attendees! Guests can also enjoy a FREE photo booth for pictures with your pet, special guests, on-site vendors sharing treats for the pets and families and just good fun for all! WHERE: It all takes place at the Fountain Courtyard by the La Mesa Blvd. Trolley Station (near Yogurt Mill) Shops and restaurants will be open for business and we encourage participants to explore the variety of stores and eateries we have to offer while you are here for the festivities!
