This is a one-of-a-kind speakeasy party hosted by local nonprofit St. Madeleine Sophie’s Center (SMSC). To enter the time capsule, attendees will be led through the secret gardens of SMSC, which will be transformed into a haunted haven for those who dare to enter. Expect to dance the night away and groove to 80’s hits with live music from local legendary band BETTAMAXX. To fuel all the moonwalking, guests can sip on totally tubular cocktails crafted by expert mixologists and indulge in stellar late-night bites, such as made-to-order tacos and bacon-wrapped hot dogs. All are encouraged to dress funky fresh and ready to impress for a chance to win the costume contest. The epic scavenger hunt will lead to hidden treasures and wickedly cool photo opportunities throughout the venue. All throughout, you’ll find goblins, ghouls and frights around every corner. Grab your Walkman and tease up your hair for a night of nostalgia and scares! This event is not only the ultimate Halloween Party, but it also supports a cause that truly makes a difference in our community. Funds raised for this event go towards SMSC’s nationally recognized innovative programs that serve individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The center’s “Life Program” allows students to develop creative outlets, learn marketable skills, and gain a sense of independence and self-esteem. Tickets are on sale now and start at $75.
