  • Medical Aid in Dying (MAiD) is a legal end-of-life option in California for eligible terminally ill patients, yet many people have questions about what it is, how it works, and how it’s accessed. Join us for an open, educational conversation about Medical Aid in Dying with Donald Moore MD of Autonomy Health. We'll unpack what MAiD is, how it works, and how access is navigated. This workshop offers transparent, accurate information in a calm, respectful space, whether you’re planning ahead for yourself, supporting a loved one, or simply wanting to understand this important end-of-life option. Together, we’ll discuss eligibility for terminally ill patients, how MAiD works, the role of medical providers, and how the medication is obtained. There will be time for questions, reflection, and thoughtful dialogue. This is an educational event, not a support group, and all are welcome. P.S. We meet in the yurt at Sweetwater Zen Center which is towards the back of the property. The Death Network: Website / Instagram
