Emphasizing the theme “Celebrating Our Heritage,” the parade will pay homage to Oceanside's cultural richness and industrious roots, with over 100 community groups represented in the procession. The parade will start at 10 a.m. at the intersection of North Coast Highway and Wisconsin Avenue and will travel north on Coast Highway to Civic Center Drive. Led by the U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Navy Band, the parade will feature diverse entries from every corner of Oceanside's rich cultural spectrum, including military, firefighters, elected officials, local car clubs, LGBTQ+ community groups, the energetic Oceanside Roller Skaters, and more, ensuring a true representation of Oceanside’s vibrant community. The event is set to draw thousands of spectators along historic Highway 101, celebrating a tradition deeply rooted in the city’s history since 1892. This year, the parade will spotlight three Hometown Heroes, a revered annual tradition celebrating outstanding residents who have tirelessly contributed to community enhancement through volunteerism. In addition to celebrating its Heroes, the parade will feature a special ceremony to award the floats that most creatively embody the theme “Celebrating Our Heritage.” This theme aims to deepen the appreciation for the diverse cultural impacts that shape the community.
