If your child loves the performing arts or wants to build confidence, creativity, and community; this is the summer camp for them! T3 Triple Threat’s Summer 2025 camp participants will rehearse and perform MTI’s Broadway Junior Revue “Raise Your Voice”. T3 partners with the City of San Diego and the North Park Recreation Center, providing training in dance, voice, and acting to produce well-rounded performers. Our Summer 2025 camp is a 7-week theatrical production culminating in a multi-performance run of “Raise Your Voice”. Join us at ArtReach Studio HQ for an egg dyeing workshop! Pysanky are traditional Ukrainian Easter eggs that are decorated with a wax resist technique. Many of pre-Christian design elements on pysanky can be traced back to early Slavic cultures, while others date back to the Paleolithic era. Throughout the workshop we will dive into the history of this beautiful art form of pysanky making and will look together at the symbols that were commonly used in order to create a message, a wish, for the upcoming year. Then we will create our own designs with our own messages in mind. We kindly ask that adults actively participate in this art activity alongside any child under the age of 11. Other: palette (any palette with eight or more color wells will do); water container; sketchbook; two No. 2 pencils; 3/4” or 1”–wide masking tape; small drawing board (Gatorfoam board or Masonite, 12” x 16” minimum); paper towels (Viva preferred). Paint: Any colors you have. Join us for a fun still-life oil painting workshop inspired by a colorful summer tea party. All aspects of still-life painting will be covered in this two-day workshop: perspective, composition, color, and accuracy will be taught using a tabletop arrangement of cups, saucers, teapots, and flowers. Bright colors and a square format will encourage experimentation. Grab a coffee; we will begin each morning with a PowerPoint lesson followed by a demo on the painting process and technique. Afterward students will paint independently for the remainder of the morning. As the paintings progress, students will learn through discussion of creative issues and group critique. Pat welcomes students of all levels. Materials: A $5 fee will be paid to Pat on the first day of class.
