After the event, an after-party will be held on Shelter Island, featuring free meals, entertainment, and activities. Operation Clean Sweep is a community-driven effort aimed at preserving the health and beauty of San Diego Bay. The San Diego Working Waterfront, representing 800 local businesses, and the Port of San Diego emphasize the importance of this initiative for the environment. Volunteers will receive free t-shirts and cleaning supplies, and the event is supported by several sponsors, including the Port of San Diego, San Diego Gas & Electric, and the U.S. Navy.
