This Disability Pride Month, join interdisciplinary artist duo Sensory Dimensions (Casey Hall-Landers & Elicia Neo) for the premiere of "My Body's Wake", a FREE multimedia experience at the City Heights Performance Annex. Through a visceral blend of body painting, live improvisational dance and violin, projection, and generative sound, "My Body's Wake" navigates the emotional terrains of grief, isolation, anger, and care - rooted in the artists' experience with chronic pain and dynamic disability. "Sensory Dimensions" depicts the experiences of disabled people with chronic illness and pain by immersing audiences in multi-sensory environments using a diverse range of artistic modalities to create accessible live art events. Founded by interdisciplinary dancer Casey Hall-Landers and multimedia violinist Elicia Neo through the Berklee NYC Masters program in Creative Media and Technology, the duo is fueled by a passion to create safe and welcoming spaces for all. "Sensory Dimensions" explores and recontextualizes pain through sensory and artistic pathways, using nature as a mirror to understand our bodies and integrating accessible design into their creative work. "REWIND" is a nostalgic and joy-filled group art exhibition that invites viewers to reflect on the memories, laughter, and moments that have shaped who we are. Presented by Art Through the Glass, the show transforms vacant storefronts into alternative art gallery spaces that reconnect the community with creativity, play, and storytelling. Featuring works including painting, photography, mixed media, and installation art, the exhibition explores themes of childhood joy, humor, cultural memory, and personal history. Each window acts as a time capsule welcoming view "REWIND: You Had to Be There… And Now You Can" is a nostalgic group art exhibition at Chula Vista Center, presented by Art Through the Glass. Featuring works that celebrate laughter, memory, and joy, the show invites viewers to reconnect with the moments that still make them smile. From childhood play to family gatherings, this exhibition turns forgotten corners into vibrant spaces for reflection, celebration, and artists to pause, smile, and remember. Sean Kurth serves as the director of membership at KPBS. Sean’s role is central to the station’s ability to serve members by leading a division that includes audience services, engagement, administration, acquisition and on-air fundraising for TV, radio and digital. Since he joined KPBS in March 2024, the station has experienced a significant increase in membership and local financial support – which Sean attributes to the spirit of generosity from San Diegans as well as the excellence of his team and partners.

Najor made his producing debut with the indie feature "I Am Not a Hipster," which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and earned him a nomination for the Producers Award. He later directed and produced the short documentary "American Baghdad," which premiered at AFI Docs in 2016. Expanding into episodic storytelling, Najor co-wrote, directed, and produced the indie pilots "The Dream" and "Pretend Partners," which were official selections at SXSW in 2020 and 2021. "Pretend Partners" received a Special Jury Recognition for Best Duo at SXSW. Najor’s feature, "Adjunct," which he wrote, directed, and produced, premiered at the Austin Film Festival in 2024. Most recently, he produced the feature film "Lucky Lu," starring internationally acclaimed actor Chang Chen, which premiered at Directors' Fortnight at Cannes in 2025. Researcher Danny Muñoz Lopez studies the connection between media use and adolescent mental health and wellbeing. While the focus often centers on mental harms from technologies like social media, Lopez notes that social media can also provide connection for young people, especially for those from historically marginalized groups.
