Crunchyroll is officially headed to San Diego Comic-Con 2025, and it's bringing the massive worlds of anime and music together for Crunchyroll Anime FanFest: a two-day live music festival featuring performances from iconic artists, including SPYAIR, yama, Denzel Curry, INIKO and more! And you won't need a badge to attend. Crunchyroll returns to SDCC "bigger, better and louder" for the event, which will take over The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park behind the San Diego Convention Center for two full days of anime and anime-inspired music on Friday, July 25 and Saturday, July 26. The lineup for Day 1 on July 25 blends iconic talent from Japan's music scene with global, anime inspired music, from electronic to alternative rock: SPYAIR — Japanese rock band behind Haikyu!! Learn to wet felt a gorgeous flower! Saturday, May 10, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. Join this 3-hour workshop and learn the ancient art of wet felting — the process of loose wool becoming felt. This textile art technique has been used in the making of rugs, homes (yurts) and clothing for centuries. In this workshop, the instructor will guide you, step by step, through the making of a felted flower. Starting with a soft merino wool, you will be creating your own one-of-a-kind flower choosing from a wide selection of dyed wool. After using soap and water to bind the fibers, you will take home a forever flower that will embellish any space. Your flower can be used as a bookmark, tied around a curtain or the strap of a hand bag, placed in a vase or given as a sweet gift…. The possibilities are endless! No experience necessary. On April 18 and 19, the California Center for the Arts, Escondido (CCAE) invites the community to witness the mesmerizing art of live glassblowing in the Cal Club Courtyard. This two-day demonstration, led by renowned glass artist James Stone of Stone & Glass, will showcase the precision, artistry, and transformative beauty of molten glass in motion. As part of Arts, Culture, and Creativity Month, this event is more than just a demonstration—it’s a celebration of community, accessibility, and artistic exploration. Guests will have the opportunity to engage with six talented glass artists, including 55Acre Project, each displaying and selling their handcrafted works. This interactive experience provides a rare glimpse into an ancient art form while fostering a deeper appreciation for creativity in all its forms. Hot Glass, Cold Beer: A Fundraiser for the Arts In the spirit of community support and cultural engagement, we are excited to host “Hot Glass, Cold Beer,” a special fundraising initiative benefiting the CCAE Foundation. The artwork on show ranges from the off beat and unsettling to the sweet and surreal, though all are a showcase of skill, sophistication and artistic tenacity.
