In honor of All Saints Weekend, enjoy an art exhibition by artist Gracie Morbitzer who paints modern day depictions of saints. She combines the character, correct age, ethnicity, and modern style to show just how human the saints were – just like us. The art will be accompanied by music from First United Methodist Church of San Diego's Jubilee Singers, Chamber Choir, and youth ensembles. The choral concert will include hymns and anthems conducted by Brian Lustig and Dana Zimbric. Come enjoy the art, music, and light a candle for the saints in your life. Federal authorities are investigating a near-collision at Chicago's Midway airport between a Southwest 737 and a small business jet. The 737 was landing when the business jet entered the runway.

Like any other city, Tijuana is full of folklore and scary legends. One of those tales is the legend of La Faraona, the dancer who haunts the grounds of what used to be the old Agua Caliente Resort and Casino, now Lazaro Cardenas High School. We talk to Fernando Escobedo, a Tijuana historian who has researched the story of Esperanza Lopez Padilla, the woman behind La Faraona. We also hear from Ursula Mansur, a Tijuana actress who has dedicated much of her professional life to bringing to life La Faraona. Fusing the rich tapestry of South American rhythms—cumbia, champeta, tropicalia, salsa, and more—with avant-psych rock, dub minimalism, and spiked jazz, they embody retro-futurism at its boldest.
