  • About Danny Guiterrez Daniel Zermeño Gutiérrez is a vocalist and pianist, composer and poet. Drawing from his diverse musical background in jazz & blues, bossa nova, boleros, and Bach, Daniel has been cultivating and refining his voice as an independent artist through years of study and practice. Daniel is trilingual, speaking English, Spanish, & Portuguese; over the years he has had the pleasure of studying with such artists as Becca Stevens, Jazzmeia Horn, Jane Monheit, Jacob Mann, Ramrio Gallo, and Bobby McFerrin. In 2022 Daniel visited Curitiba, Brazil to study Portuguese & Poetry with Pf. Pedro Souza and immerse himself in the country’s rich oral and musical tradition. Upon his return, Daniel channeled this newfound knowledge by serving as a vocalist, pianist, composer, arranger, & musical director for a variety of bossa-infused folk projects.
