Set to take place on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at the stunning, state-of-the-art EVE venue in downtown San Diego, this unique evening will bring together 25 award-winning, international celebrity chefs and 25 celebrated winemakers to deliver an extraordinary four-course dining experience—all while supporting the arts in San Diego. Curated by celebrity chef and best-selling author Chef Claudia Sandoval, this year’s Culinary Concerto, promises an unparalleled fusion of gastronomy, fine wine, and live music. Each table will be transformed into a personal stage for a celebrity chef to craft an exquisite four-course dinner tableside, paired with wines meticulously selected by renowned winemakers and enologists from Valle de Guadalupe to Paso Robles and beyond. With a main focus on functional pottery, beginner students will learn how to use the equipment in the studio and how to use the wheel while more advanced students will further use the wheel as a tool to create work made partially or entirely from thrown forms. All students will be encouraged to experiment with surface and altering techniques to transform their work from pots to functional works of art. Students will leave the class with finished work they can use at home that’s dishwasher safe! After hundreds of international students lost their status this spring, then regained it following lawsuits, the uncertainty of it happening again has created fear. Some students say they’ve changed the routes they take on campus, the topics they research, and what they post on social media.

Fairview Canyon is a group of accomplished multi-instrumentalist musicians with many years of experience playing a variety of genres. Their current focus is playing an Americana style while also touching on the West Coast Sound of the late sixties and seventies. Featuring tight harmony vocals and intricate guitar work, the quartet specializes in putting their own stamp on singer/songwriters.
