It is both an ancient and modern theme found in many disciplines including literature, religion, and mythology. The continued global manifestation of the Wayfarer’s story speaks to its importance across time and diverse cultures. These Songs ask questions of what defines us as individuals and as connected humans - an important precursor to understanding our interdependency and social justice.
