  • The San Diego County Fair presents the 2025 lineup for its acclaimed Paddock Concert Series. The 20-night Paddock Concert Series, presented by Chevrolet, includes a collection of Grammy-winning artists, rising stars, and tributes to legendary acts. The series is included in the price of admission, offering a real value and a fun experience for families to enjoy together. Shows will begin at 9 p.m. nightly from June 11–July 6 on the Chevrolet Paddock Stage at the San Diego County Fair. These shows are for all ages. Ozomatli opens the series on June 11 with their signature blend of Latin, hip-hop and rock.   • Our 21st concert season concludes with a special treat, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Bassoon Concerto in B-flat Major. The soloist is David Savage, PSO’s Principal Bassoonist and one of San Diego’s most accomplished woodwind musicians. Mozart’s concerto is a rare gem, full of expressive range and technical brilliance that requires a true professional. Mr. Savage brings exactly the artistry and experience this piece demands.   • Virtuoso organist Jonas Nordwall performs popular standards on the Theatre Organ Society’s 4-manual, 24-rank “mighty Wurlitzer.” Nordwall is equally skilled in presenting both classical and popular music concerts. This concert will be a showcase of the Great American Songbook. The American Theatre Organ Society named Jonas Nordwall its Organist of the Year in 1987. He has served since 1971 as organist at the First United Methodist Church of Portland, Oregon, where he is Artistic Director of Music. He led the organist staff for ten years at Portland’s Organ Grinder Pizza restaurant and is the organist for the Oregon Symphony Orchestra.
