  • We're making the most of our spring and summer with our Block Party series! This series aims to celebrate community, culture, and creativity by creating a platform for underrepresented artists to display their diverse talents. You can look forward to a fire lineup of local talent, a variety of food options to satisfy your cravings, and numerous vendors to discover and shop from within your community. The event has a suggested donation of $5 - $20 for entry, which will support this festival and many others. By investing in our organization, you directly contribute to more inclusive cultural spaces in your neighborhood. These events are family and dog-friendly and open to the public. Come out to enjoy the summer sun, connect with like-minded individuals, listen (and dance) to some groovy tunes, and support the work of underrepresented creatives! • To maintain old friends, focus less on what they're doing (or not doing) for the relationship and focus on your own efforts, says Nina Badzin, host of a friendship podcast.
  • Ted Geisel, a.k.a. Dr. Seuss, spent his life pushing open the doors of conventional thought, ushering in new directions and ideas, and always looking “through the wrong end of the telescope.” His wife, Audrey, continued that vision as she guided Ted’s legacy across the nearly 30 years following his passing. Such stewardship included the formation of The Art of Dr. Seuss Collection, allowing the world its first chance to see images Ted had made privately yet never shared with the general public. The works included in this exhibition are not only an inspired tribute to Ted and Audrey’s vision, but to those of us who also believe life is better when viewed through the wrong end of the telescope. In homage to this unique perspective, select works in this exhibition include rare examples signed by Audrey Geisel. "25 Year s Through The Wrong End of The Telescope" offers a rare glimpse into the artistic life of this celebrated American icon and chronicles almost seven decades of work that, in every respect, is uniquely, stylistically, and endearingly Seussian.
