  • Please join us for a special evening presenting local author Jennifer Gasner and her featured book, "My Unexpected Life: Finding Balance Beyond My Diagnosis", an award-winning, coming-of-age story about the author’s diagnosis with Friedreich’s ataxia and meeting the challenges it brought her with humor and determination. In this captivating memoir, Jennifer shares how her assumptions about disability and her outlook on life changed. As ambassador for the Friedreich’s Ataxia Research Alliance, Jennifer participated in Rare Across America, meeting with legislators to discuss current legislation affecting more than 25 million Americans living with one or more rare diseases.
