Race registration will open at 6:00 a.m. Opening announcements will then follow at 7:00 a.m. The Half Marathon will start at 7:30 a.m. while the 5K will begin at 9:00 a.m. The course will close at 10:00 a.m. at which time the award ceremony will begin. All runners receive a high-quality t-shirt and finisher medal. There will be an After Party at 11:00 a.m. at the American Legion, just blocks from the finish line with food, drinks, and live music. Race bib and t-shirt (packet) pick-up is strongly encouraged – Friday, March 18 or Saturday, March 19 between 1:00 and 7:00 p.m. – at Road Runner Sports Carlsbad, 5617 Paseo Del Norte #100, Carlsbad (92008). This year’s sponsors are Road Runner Sports, and Herman Cook Volkswagen Encinitas.
