  • Cardiff Farmer's Market is excited to announce a San Elijo Lagoon Clean Up in collaboration with community cleanup organization We Clean Trails. Taking place on Saturday, February 3rd at 10 a.m., the special event will bring together environmental enthusiasts to preserve the ecological health of the San Elijo Lagoon by removing trash from our footpaths and roadways. Participants will gather at the Cardiff 101 Information booth at 10 a.m. for a safety briefing before starting a cleanup loop around Manchester Avenue and the San Elijo Lagoon. To show their appreciation for this project, each volunteer will receive a complimentary gluten-free protein bar from Island Girl Bakes, an 8oz cup of “Six Summit Blend” coffee from TrailBlend Coffee, and a Cardiff Farmer’s Market tote bag to encourage sustainable shopping.
