Angela has produced public radio programs focused on the arts for the Atlanta and San Diego markets. In this role, she has covered topics ranging from books, film, theater, music, visual arts and pop culture. She also has more than 15 years experience in print media, having been published in various newspapers, alternative weeklies, and exhibition catalogs. Angela has degrees in political science from Pennsylvania State University and in English literature from Georgia State University. She is also a published photographer.

La Jolla Playhouse hosts French circus artist Aurélia Thierrée's engaging and surreal show "Aurélia's Oratorio." Thierrée is the granddaughter of Charlie Chaplin and her parents are creators of the famous Cirque Imaginaire, a small circus troupe credited with inspiring Cirque du Soleil. Thierrée's show is part circus, part magic, part vaudeville and chock full of surrealism. We'll talk with Thierrée about "Aurélia's Oratorio."

New Orleans has a lot to celebrate this month: a Super Bowl win, Mardi Gras, and the new album by five-man funk band Galactic. The album is called "Ya-Ka-May" and drops tomorrow, February 9th.
