New Novel Details Cutthroat Publishing World

San Diego-based memoirist Debra Ginsberg recently published her first novel called "Blind Submission." She talks about the transition from writing memoirs to novels and details the perils of the publ

Tom Fudge : Debra Ginsberg is one of the people for whom the word “bookworm” was created. She's the kind of person who reads books in one sitting. At any one time, she may be reading half-a-dozen different books. She says she has worked in just about every part of the publishing business. And, best of all, she is a published author herself.

She’s written three memoirs, including Raising Blaze , the story of her challenges raising a son. Now, she’s come out with a novel that is a little bit autobiographical. Her latest book is called Blind Submission.

Debra Ginsberg will sign copies of her book Blind Submission at Warwicks on Friday night at 6 p.m.
