This week in San Diego, physicians and other health providers are attending a unique course teaching how nutrition and herbs, exercise, emotions, and spirituality as well as physiology and biochemistry can impact health and healing.

This comes at a time when a new study shows that transcendental meditation lowers blood pressure and insulin resistance. Host Gloria Penner speaks with the director of the Scripps Center for Integrative Medicine about the mind-body connection.
