In San Diego, the premiere event showcasing short films is Alt.Picture Shows, which will be at the Museum of Contemporary Art in La Jolla. We'll talk with the curator and a music video director whose

Tom Fudge: Short films are not the kind of thing you're likely to see at the multiplex. But feature-length films aren't the only ones that deserve the attention of critics. Short films, like short stories, can be good art. And if you're a fan of the format there's an event going on tonight that you'll want to know about.
