Spoken Word Poets Slam These Days with Talent
Thursday, February 1, 2007
Tom Fudge: Are you ready for some poetry? Well get ready, because it is my pleasure to present the great These Days poetry slam. For the next 20 minutes you're going to hear some of San Diego's verse-makers reach for poetic nirvana. So without further, I give you our slam master, Cecil Hayduke, the director of Voz Alta.
Voz Alta continues to host their San Diego slam poetry competition every second and fourth Monday at Voz Alta on Broadway in downtown San Diego.
The documentary “Poetry Lives” will air this Sunday night at 10:30 p.m.
The Full Moon Poets Winter Poetry Slam will take place tonight at 7 p.m. at La Polama Theater in Encinitas.
