PA Primary, City Council Raises, Housing Market

Audio

Aired 4/19/09

The Democratic candidates are preparing for next week's presidential primary in Pennsylvania. How important will the primary be in deciding who will take on Republican John McCain in the general election?

Also, the City Council votes to give itself a raise, and quickly changes its mind after an influx of criticism from concerned voters. What was the Council thinking when it approved of the 24% raise?

And, the local housing market continues to slide as the median home price dipped below $400,000 for the first time in five years. What's happening in Congress right now to address the real estate downturn?
