Tom Fudge: Here we are in another presidential campaign, and it's the economy, stupid. Yes, just as Bill Clinton campaign-operatives said in 1992, the economy and the American pocketbook is on the minds of most voters. But that doesn't make the issue of Iraq go away. It remains one of the very heavy weights the new president will have around his neck, and it does look like the next president will be a "he."

When it comes to foreign policy, a lot of Americans believe the next president needs to right the ship that George W. Bush has set off course.
