Tom Fudge:
Hershey Felder
is a pianist and an actor. And recently he's made a mark as a creator of one-man shows. His plays, two of which have been on stage at San Diego's
Old Globe Theate
r, definitely have a theme. They portray the lives and the work of famous pianist/composers. He's done a show about the life and work of George Gershwin. He did Frederic Chopin, and now he's doing Ludwig van Beethoven.
You can see all three of Hershey Felder's shows this summer at The Old Globe.
Beethoven As I Knew Him
is on stage now and runs through June 8th.
Monsieur Chopin
opens June 11th and runs through June 22nd, and his Gershwin show
George Gershwin Alone
opens June 25th and runs through June 29th.
